RafMan

Eat the pizza. Outrun Raf.

A maze chase where the ghost takes the shortest path, not a lucky guess — and the fruit pie turns the whole thing around.

Go on, then — it works right here.

Nick clears the maze. Raf hunts him.

Four fruit pies sit in the corners of the board, as far from safety as they can be. Eat one and it inverts: Raf turns pale and runs, and for a few seconds you are the one doing the chasing.

Raf is not a random ghost

He works out the genuine shortest path through the maze to where you are — and on the harder settings, to where you are going rather than where you are. What buys you time is that he refuses to double back on himself, and that he breaks off every so often to sulk in his corner. Learn those two things and you can lose him. Forget them and he will meet you at the junction.

Peckish

Raf ambles, wanders off often, and gives you room to learn the board.

Hungry

Level pace, and he aims a couple of tiles ahead of you. Greed costs.

Ravenous

Faster than you are, and he plays the corners rather than following you round them.

Then make it worse on purpose

The setup is yours before every run, and best scores are kept separately for each combination — because fifty Rafs on the small map is not the same game as one on the standard map.

50

Rafs

Add them one at a time. They spread out, take different corners, and all of them go pale when you eat a pie.

50

Extra pies

Spread evenly through the maze. More power, less pizza between you and the next one.

2

Maps

The standard maze, or a smaller one drawn half again as large.

Levels

Clear the board and Raf comes back faster. Your pie window gets shorter every time.

Put your own faces on it

Choose a picture for Nick or for Raf and the game uses it. Nick’s mouth opens and closes straight through his — you see the maze through the bite.

The pictures never leave your phone

They are stored on the device and nowhere else. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account to attach them to, and they are not part of anything the app shares. Remove one and it is gone.

Catching him doubles for each one you catch before the pie wears off. The bar at the top of the screen is the whole tension: it bleeds down while you decide whether one more corner is worth it, and the moment it empties Raf turns back around — wherever you happen to be standing.
